We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Business Manager - Regional.

Principal Responsibilities

  • The jobholder is responsible for supporting Head of ASP GPS and Head of Business Management by extending business management function to GPS markets across ASP, including governance of strategic initiatives, revenue and cost management, execution of strategic initiatives, identification of opportunities/mitigants required to grow GPS business
  • The role also enables delivery of ASP GPS regional profitability targets through effective business and markets management in engagement with Clients, External/Internal Stakeholders, Head ASP GPS, Head of GPS International, and respective GPS Country Heads. Achieved through driving country business reviews, working with country GPS Heads to facilitate resolution of business challenges, developing market intelligence, building analytics to identify potential business opportunities/manage client attrition etc
  • Plan and drive GPS P&L growth for International Markets in business management capacity through engagement with Head ASP GPS International and Stakeholders (Business / Functional Teams in international markets)
  • Develop suitable strategies and plan initiatives required to grow GPS business in ASP in engagement with ASP GPS Management Committee and Country GPS Heads
  • Lead regional projects as an extension of the ASP GPS Heads office to facilitate growth of the business e.g. people enablement, due diligence, medium term outlooks etc. as part of GPS’s participation in delivering the Bank’s strategic initiatives
  • Drives and develops GPS’s understanding of how internal and external challenges will impact the demand for cash management services and GPS revenue across the region
  • Drives enablement of regional GPS target operating model / initiatives in engagement with ASP and country GPS and Global Business stakeholders
  • Drives teamwork and communication across Asia Pacific. Enhances communication between regional and country stakeholders
  • Ensures appropriate internal controls
  • Suitably leverage ASP PCM’s Business Analytics platform (‘Insight’) to drive enhanced business performance effectiveness

Requirements

  • University Graduate with 10+ years of experience, preferably in a Bank
  • Strong project management skills and experience of working across geographies
  • Understanding of transaction banking business and products
  • Business management (i.e. P&L management) expertise
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and across geographies
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
