    We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Global Product Manager, Core Payments.

    Principal Responsibilities

    • Responsible for driving the external product commercialisation and USD CHATS risk management and service development requirements within the global Core payments product portfolio. This requires operating across the matrix through close collaboration with other teams such as Risk Stewards, cross-Product functions/teams, Operations, Technology, Sales, and Client Management plus all regional and country counterparts, regularly working with and briefing senior management
    • Responsible for formulating and executing on global commercialisation plan with the aim to improve core payment product profile and GPS brand externally through industry engagements by collaborating with regions and countries and adapt in line with market developments
    • Responsible for product commercialization of Core payments and receivables product portfolio through industry engagements, improve product profile in the markets as well as delivering on the responsibilities of the delegated risk owner of USD CHATS Settlement Institution function in Hong Kong.  The extensive scope of the role requires engagement with product stakeholders, Technology, Operations and risk stewards at all levels across the globe to ensure Global Payment Solutions (GPS) drives commercialisation of existing products while managing our risk and ensuring our products remain compliant with regulation and global standards
    • Responsible for managing and delivering on tasks related to USD CHATS Settlement Institution function from GPS business perspective including providing periodic updates on USD CHATS business performance, submitting reports to various Risk & Governance forums, engage with HKMA and HKICL on new project proposal. Engage Technology, Operations, various risk stewards to continuously improve operating efficiency and manage the risk profile of the USD Settlement Institution service
    • Actively engage in development of next generation solution requirements by carrying out research on customer needs, emerging market trends, infrastructure development and the regulatory environment globally, leveraging on market insights and analysis, in collaboration with client facing colleagues and in-country teams
    • Proactive management of risk level of the assigned products constantly, by conducting end-to-end product reviews outlining all key dependencies, input sources, capabilities, and risks. For ensuring complete transparency, business improvement opportunities and recommend/implement risk mitigation steps as necessary
    Requirements
    • Solid experience in banking, preferably in cash management
    • Proven experience in Payment’s product management, Technology, operations is desirable
    • Strong team player, highly motivated with an achievement-oriented approach to business
    • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyse complex problems, interpret customer and/or operational needs and develop integrated, creative solutions
    • Strong communication skills and fluency in English is expected
